CERT Alerts! Juice Jacking can drain your whole account




Never charge your mobile phones in public places. This type of cyber attack is called juice jacking, where hackers can hamper your mobile data and install malware in your mobile phone. In this concern, RBI has warned mobile users against charging their mobile phones at public chargers like, airport and mall and stick to their own USB cables and charging plugs.
Moreover, an alert has also been issued by the central government agency CERT.
CERT said that if you want to avoid juice jacking, then everyone should think twice before charging their phone in any public place. Use an electrical wall outlet to charge your phone in a public place. According to CERT, if you charge the phone in a public place, then definitely switch it off.
